When her husband dies, Raynelle Slocumb calls the family together to pay their last respects. As they gather under a single roof, family tensions immediately begin to rise. The movie was directed by Doug McHenry and features music from Tyler Bates with original songs by Kirk Franklin. It is rated PG with a feature running time of 94 minutes.
The movie is presented in an anamorphic widescreen version (2.35:1). The overall quality of the transfer is excellent. Images are sharp and colors are robust with fully saturated hues. There is a high degree of contrast with dark black levels. Picture defect mastering is perfect with no major defects or digital compression artifacts.

The following spoken language options are available on this disc: English Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 channel surround. The following subtitle tracks are available on this disc: English and Spanish subtitles, and English closed captions. The English Dolby Digital 5.1 track is the basis for this review. Dialogue is clear and natural sounding. There is very little surround channel activity and it is primarily used for music. There are limited discrete channel effects and they take place only in the forward channels. The LFE channel sees limited action and is used predominantly for adding depth to the music.

The tactile sound effects for this film are average and are present in approximately one quarter of the movie's chapters. The types of tactile effects that can be experienced range from subtle to moderate. The best tactile information comes in the wake scene in chapter 14, and with the music in chapters 26-28.
